This is a stunning essay. I will read it again and again and have my 14yo daughter read it and get her thoughts. I was so moved by lines like: "Their parents have no neat and tidy story to tell them. There isn’t a beginning and middle and end. There is just now — this quick-moving unknown mess." Bravo.
