I guess it’s because I’m not a f-word bomb dropper (and again, really rarely ever think it). I guess it’s a mindset of, “As long as I’m not hurting people, I’m going to protect my creative work and my integrity.” But yes, a kinder and simply way (because I’m *really* not into being unkind) might be, “Oh, really?” Or, “I’m good.” And just leave it at that. Open to others thoughts on this, too.
