Hi Tom, I've been reading your posts for a while. I was inspired by your energy, enthusiasm, and free spirit, and had been interested in reading your advice on how to do well on Medium since I started writing on it after its Edenic early days. In this post, I was interested until I came upon this bit of sweeping, ageist misogyny: "I can’t keep reading articles written by middle-aged women who made boatloads of money on Medium complaining about the patriarchy, privilege, and self-help bros." As a middle-aged woman who has complained about the patriarchy, why is that bullshit? (Note: we live in a patriarchy.) Isn't that a particular perspective? Yes, I get it. Why would a 28yo man want to read the perspective of a middle-aged woman? And it's always kind of fun, and funny, to use the term "middle-aged white women" since they are whining and have nothing interested to say. But I'm interested in the perspective of a 28yo man living in Mexico. So, what are the articles you want to read if not articles by middle-aged women writing about self-help bros (what?) and liberals with a stark perspective?
