Hi Sachin Shenoy Yes, I understand what you’re saying. I did write singularly from my point of view. I did imagine, often and still do, what he had to go through alone. And yes, I imagine with guilt and shame him suffering alone. But I don’t want to presume to write from his point of view. I was trying to explain the mindset of someone (me), who before I became *that* person, I never understood, at all. I couldn’t understand why someone wouldn’t just be honest and why they would let themselves go down that road that leads to no end of hurt, most especially for the spouse. If it matters, I will never forgive myself for what I did to my spouse.
