Hi Keith, Thanks for your feedback. That's interesting that you've had women in your life who asked you to drive. I agree that the passenger's seat is relaxing. You get to sleep, look out the window, read. So there is a lot to be said about not being in the driver's seat, literally and metaphorically. What I'm qusetioning is why having the man drive is the default, that it is assumed he must be the one in the power seat. This cultural presumption, I believe, does both women and men a disservice by making it the default and not something open for more questioning so each individual seats where suits them best at any particular time, instead of almost always having it decided along gender lines.
